Juliaca
Peruvian Accoyo's Juliaca

Juliaca was imported from Peru in 1996. He came directly from the herd of Don Julio Barreda, the most renowned alpaca breeder in Peru. At that time "two years of age" his dense white fiber measured 20.5 microns, a coefficient of variation of 18.5, and a standard deviation of THREE. His fleece is dense, dense, dense, and he is throwing offspring with soft crimpy fleeces. The most exciting part is that he is throwing colour in his offspring when bred to coloured females.

Juliaca
WestWool's Cromwell

Son of Accoyo's El Moustachio, Cromwell a full accoyo male was born in 1997 and has started his breeding career. He won the 1999 International Fleece Competition; this speaks for itself.

Juliaca
WestWool's Fredrico

Fredrico is full Accoyo male born in 2000. He is the son of Juliaca and WestWool Freida.

Fredrico is a well-porportioned male with a lovely soft-handling fleece. His fleece colour is light fawn just like his Accoyo grandfather, Pperuvian Felix. He was first in his class at the West Coast Sweepstakes at 2 years, and started breeding in 2003 at 3 years.

Presidente
4Peruvian Presidente

Presidente, a full accoyo male, was the # 1 importers' pick from the 1996 US Peruvian import.

Benatton
Peruvian Benatton 827

Benatton was purchased by WestWool alpacas in 1993, from the first import of Peruvian alpacas into North America, when she was two years old. Benatton turned out to be a great producer for WestWool over the years and as Mike Safely said recently " she is one of the best producing females brought into North America". Her early offspring won lots of ribbons for Northwest Alpacas including the 1998 AOBA Produce of Dam, Blue. Winners include Mr Antonio, Bonita, Michell. Mr Antonio is now standing at stud and owned jointly by Heart's Desire Farm and Magical Farms. Bandito another Benatton son was bought by Champion Alpacas in California. Another son, Ned Kelly, was purchased by Tim and Della Wagnon of Alpaca Bella Fina in Idaho. Benatton's 2002 histogram was MC 23.3 SD 4.1 CV 17.6
