This was a large class and was the only class in this category. Her Sire is OACL Mario and her mother is a Cromwell daughter. Her histogram before her second shearing was MC 22. CV 20.5. |
Layla will be three years old this May. She is a beige female and is bred to WestWool's Jason; a black ¾ Peruvian male and is due Spring 2010. She was first in her class at the Pacific Coast Alpaca Show in 2009 and third in her class at the Canadian National Futurity in 2009 and was given recognition for Best Handle in that class. She was also forth in her class at the Canadian National Futurity in 2008. Her sire is OACL Mario and her mother is a Juliaca Daughter. Her histogram before her second shearing was MC 20.3 CV 18.2. |
Sofia will be 2 years old this April. She was first in her class and Fawn Champion at the Pacific Coast Alpaca Show in 2009. She was first in her class at the Canadian National Futurity in 2009 and was given recognition for Best Handle in that class. Her histogram in 2010 is MC 19.0 CV 19.9. She will be entered into the 2010 Canadian National Futurity. |

Canadian National Futurity 2009
Six of the seven animals we brought to the Futurity got ribbons with WestWool's Alvaro taking the ribbon for Reserve Champion White Male. Of most note is the fact that we had animals in five classes and we got the recognition for Best Handle in each of those classes.
